Name Change and the Problems.
All of these snap shot photos were taken  started before I was voted off the board.

The collection of these snapshots were intended to inform the board of the damage being done to our database within the PP4 program. I had come to the conclusion that the problem was that this could be solved with a good explanation and some photos

Now to day these snapshots are to prove I was trying to get the PastPerfect program repaired.

Those  who tried to cast a shadow  on my  name is what maters to me most to me and  I will repair the damage done to my name at what cost it takes.  Had Mr. O'Keefe been fair and let Richard Schmitz continue with his motion to adjourn it would have bee a different story. have been  much easier.

Below are files with new name and the one with old  names. These short name have been added through the process we first started on with Jennessa Reed and then later with There is a (Edit) on the page below to make possible to change the name.   PastPerfect should have a popup warning that to edit the name will cause those attached to the present name to loose the connection to the new name. These files will  have to be re-attached through editing. People who do not know this can cause much trouble with the editing of the  Authority files.

PastPerfect has a Utility called "Global Update" or Global Command as Brian Gomez VP of operations called this. He describes this in his letter of instructions. See Letter of instruction.   The way to do this  is to print out a list of the ones in the (AB 001) then change. Then go  through and save them to the new location and this is what I was doing before.  After learning about Global Update it was easy to make the changes however it was a way to  really mess thing up if you did not know what you were doing.   See E-mail of Brian Gomez

This is computer technical stuff.-- This is to prove I know what is needed. I never tooted my horn as I did not need more work as my fingers are bad shape because of arthritis and become very swollen with too much work

To the left are files that have had their name changed and the some of the old files before the name change. . The file that ends with (#100) may had a name added to it perhaps twice or oftener. First it may have began with only (AB1) and then perhaps (AB 001) as I persuaded people to use at least two zeros.  I corrected many such at this by add two zeros or words before the number, then the  number sigh (#) messed every thing up.

Then at one time the (words in prentices ) was added. The accessions with the short name were still on this accession file however they had to be saved as Brian described and then with Global Command the two would be made into one.

I figured at one time we had no more than 20% of our photos and boxes in Home Authority. and Reports on Barcode show some 150 barcode without Location.

The  Accessions that were added after the Name change beginning of the long name with the name in Prentices therefore no short name.

.A bit lower the one with Railroad was changed and is still showing the last and two previous location.  Two volunteers and I had nearly 90 percent of these completed when the total file was deleted. .

Help came from  two members of the NCHS< Dorothy and Diane  after some  instruction as to what Gomez wanted us to do. This was adding the short names which would later be merged in with the long name. Some of these got deleted before I put password on the commuter as Brian Gomez recommended.

You try and explain about these  unattached photos  to someone that  have had no computer experience  and you have problems.

I tried to explain this to the board at an earlier  time and it fell flat, One board member said "There seems to be a difference of  opinion  and likely does not make that much difference." and another  drew on a single sheet of paper how to attach the unattached photos.

A computer program can be messed up with a comma instead of a period.
